Groups allows you to group components by purpose or audience. Grouping allows you to send notifications to subscribers attached to those groups. Grouping also allows for page view variations based upon the groups a subscriber is a member of. If page level grouping is enabled, a default group view will show to the public.

Create a Group

Click New Group in the upper right of the group management screen to create a new group. Give your group a name, add components and subscribers to create the group. Click create when finished.

Page Level Grouping

Checking the box to enable page level grouping will change the view of a page to consider the group or groups a subscriber is assigned to, and only show those components to the subscribers in their logged in view.

Default Group

All components will show to the public on a public status page unless a default group is selected. A group could be created specifically for the public view and be selected here.
