There are 2 kinds of notifications that go out from StatusCast: Subscriber and Administrative.
- Subscriber email notifications are styled using Brand Templates and link to the status page.
- Administrative emails will always have StatusCast branding.
Administrative notifications will go to admin users as a result of different events and link directly to the admin panel, not the webpage. You can turn these on/off per admin user. If an Administrative user goes to their user profile and scrolls down they will see the admin notification options they can turn off or on:
SMS will only be sent if you put a phone number in your admin profile.
Many administrative users only use some of these, and often also set up a subscriber level user so they can view the incident from the perspective of the client.
